Summer Breeze: uma homenagem à música de Dash Crofts

Hoje o Lobo do Rock comemora (com um dia de atraso) o músico e compositor Dash Crofts, nascido em 14 de agosto de 1940 em Cisco, Texas que, nos anos 70 formou com seu parceiro Jim Seals a dupla Seals & Crofts, responsável por sucessos como Diamond Girl e Summer Breeze, que decidi publicar quando encontrei no You Tube o vídeo de uma apresentação inesquecível da dupla no programa Midnight Special, em 1973. Posso imaginar o sorriso no seu rosto. 

Dash toca bandolim nas gravações e em concertos. O seu bandolim parece ser um Gibson Jam Master Standard A-style, com captador DeArmond. Ele também possui um modelo Gibson EM150, anterior a 1941, que aparece na foto do álbum Greatest Hits. Crofts gravou um álbum solo chamado Today, lançado em 1998.
