11 de maio é o dia de reverenciar Eric Burdon, um grande vocalista, compositor e 'front man' da banda inglesa 'The Animals' e também do grupo 'War'. A combinação perfeita do blues eletrificado e o rock tornou a banda uma das principais atrações do movimento que mostrou ao mundo o som criado na ilha e dominou as paradas norte-americanas e que veio a ser chamado de Invasão Britânica, juntamente com Beatles, The Who, The Rolling Stones, The Dave Clark Five, and The Kinks, entre outros. Hoje escolhi o vídeo da música "We Gotta Get Out of This Place", de Barry Mann e Cynthia Weil , gravada pelos Animals em 1965 que se tornou icônica no estilo e arrebentou entre os soldados norte-americanos na guerra do Vietnam.
