"If You Want To Sing Out, Sing Out" é uma conhecida canção de Yusuf  (a.k.a.) Cat Stevens, para o filme Harold and Maude, do mesmo ano, e para o qual Stevens compôs todas as músicas entre 1970 e 1971, enquanto ele compunha e gravava o seu excelente álbum Tea For the Tillerman. No entanto "If You Want to Sing Out, Sing Out" e outras duas canções do período não foram lançadas como singles nem incluídas em nenhum álbum, uma vez que o filme não teve a sua trilha sonora lançada. A música só foi publicada em 1984 no álbum "Footsteps in the Dark: Greatest Hits, Vol. 2", juntamente com as outras inéditas.
